I am a Biology PhD student at the University of North Texas, Denton. My areas of research are aquatic entomology, stream ecology and freshwater mussels. Currently, I am focused on documenting the Trichoptera of south-central United States (TX, LA, OK, AK, NM). Prior to returning to school I worked for the City of Austin's Watershed Department Surface Water Team as the primary taxonomists, and occasionally with Biologist that documented the populations of two endangered, native salamanders in Austin.
