My name is Izzy Ward and I am a 10th grader in AP biology at Louisa County High School. When I go outside, I enjoy working on the yard with my dad and practicing my tumbling for cheerleading. I have family members that live on farms and I like helping them feed and take care of their animals. Therefore, I am excited to be a part of the LCHS Biodiversity Project. This project was started by my teacher, Kathy Richardson, with the purpose of viewing the number and variety of species of organisms surrounding the school. This project will help me further my knowledge and learn about different life forms that I do not already know much about. This will help me learn ways that I can benefit the community around me and conserve the biodiversity within this community.
