Observation of the Day

Today's beautiful butterfly observation was identified as the Arizona sister.

This is a species of butterfly that ranges from Guatemala and Mexico to the southwestern United States, including southeastern California, Arizona, New Mexico, and southern Texas. Their habitat preferences are Oak Woodland, riparian canyons and mixed coniferous forests, adults usually near water or streams.
