This name was proposed for the widespread, Australian species on Eucalyptus leaf litter. It has also been detected from South America, Spain, and South Africa.

@jameskm The vast majority of records were for the true eucalypti - including 145 of my own. All of mine were on Acacia melanoxylon. Its not really very practical to reidentify all of these.

Oh dear, you are absolutely right. I am so sorry. I clearly massively overestimated the number of observations on Eucalyptus. I tried searching records in the "identify" feature for the annotation "Acacia" and only six came up. Looking closer now, I see that the tags were not included. This is my fault. I will reverse it.
