This is one of our wildflower show plants, and the botanists that do the verifications don't seem to get a consistent ID with the two, and then their ID's vary from year to year.
But Oregon Flora Project recognizes two different L. dissectums; so OFP is the flora used for the shows in Oregon.
Lomatium dissectum var. dissectum
Lomatium dissectum var. multifidum
Going by their maps the one I have is most likely L. dissectum var. dissectum?

https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:143068-2 Shows no varieties. But also doesn't show that varieties have been synonymized. So it might be worth sharing your source material with bi@kew.org

I don't know about some of these other flora projects. I'm kinda of the opinion that whoever wants move stuff should at least double check with the resources where the plants live , just out of curiosity I looked at all three leading taxonomies in Washington, Oregon, and California, and they all agree on what I already said?!

Again, we are open to deviations from our framework with POWO, but they have to be discussed by the community and done with appropriate references. I suggest you make a flag on the species, as you and I are the only ones who will likely ever see this discussion here.
