Two male bees were spotted this morning. The male bee in the face shot appeared to have more defined and obvious yellow bands on the abdomen dorsal. The face image is of one bee and the dorsal shots are of the other while both bees were perched in the area of a cherry tree (Malphighia emarginata). Species confirmed by Prof. Dr. Felipe Vivallo, research expert on Centris bees.
