Terrible screen shot from phone video of M. Caurina hunting along a creek in clearcut. Great views of extensive pale white throat, big ears, and frizzy tail.
Photos by Ritchie Zelk. While this individual does not have a black tip on its tail, the tail looks too bushy to be a Least Weasel, I think. It appears that this individual has maybe lost a part of its tail. I am interested in hearing other's opinions on this.

in mature to old conifer dominant forest with some old red maples mixed in.
Spotted alongside trail, seen zigzagging in and out of the bushes holding prey. Spotted a total of 4 times from different distances. Seen with 1 other hiker at the time.
Running along the dam of a private lake in West Bellevue.
A fisher and a fox were fighting on the road. By the time I pulled over to take a picture, the fisher went into the bush and the fox stood its ground on the road. Very cool!
Super cool to see!! It was using the cars as cover as it snuck back towards the thicker thornscrub, presumably it was previously drinking at the water feature which was where it left from. It peered out at me after hiding under my car for a brief moment, it had a dark face mask.
