Calling all nature enthusiasts! We have an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to the tracking of biodiversity while also having a chance to win some amazing prizes. With over 10 million observations already recorded on iNaturalist.ca, we invite you to be a part of the next 10 million through the Canadian Wildlife Federation (CWF) Observation Nation Biodiversity Tracking Contest with Granted Clothing.
To get started, ensure that your account is affiliated with iNaturalist Canada (this information can be verified in your account settings). Then head to the contest page on the CWF website to sign up. Confirm that you have read the rules, and you're all set to begin!
Now it's time to start making those observations! You can use the iNaturalist app or the website at iNaturalist.ca to record your findings. By making at least one observation per week, you'll qualify for weekly prizes such as hats, solar chargers, micro lenses, and more. Aim to reach a total of 100 observations by October 31st, and you'll be eligible for the Observation Nation Summertime Prize Pack.
