Diario del proyecto FNCB iNaturalist

You may have noticed an explosion in the number of observations in our project recently. The project is now collecting all observations in Victoria by anyone who has joined the project. This means you no longer have to add your observations manually.

On the 19th June, Les Hanrahan @leshanrahan led members of the Field Naturalist Club of Ballarat on our monthly field trip, in search of amazing fungi in the Wombat forest.

You can see all the observations that have been uploaded to iNaturalist from that day here.

Highlights included several slime moulds, many different fungi such as delicate Pixie's Parasols, and fungi growing on fungi (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/122422053), a rakali and yellow robin seen at our lunch stop, and a nesting swan (seen on the way home, not in the forest).
