Diario del proyecto FNCB iNaturalist

Jeff Rootes from Bunanyung Landscape Alliance led members of FNCB on a field trip on 4th September 2022 to visit Wattle Creek and gorge, Sailors Gully, and Grasstree Creek and Pennyweight Gully.

Wildlife highlights included grey kangaroos (which maybe no-one got a photo of), an undescribed species of slug, and many species of birds including spotted pardalotes (also no photos, unfortunately).

We saw an amazing range of weeds, but were delighted by large patches of scented sundews along the rail-trail, and tall greenhoods right beside the road at our first stop.
