Diario del proyecto Erie MetroParks

Firstly, welcome to our new project followers; @jenniferc3, and @lakeerie!

The project increased from 2952 to 3159 observations (+207), 1025 to 1082 species (+57), and 113 to 120 observers (+7). This was assisted by a BioBlitz program at Wyandot MetroPark. Our next Bioblitz is at Hoffman Woods on November 21. Come join us!

In total, there were 206 observations added to the project within October 2021. The observations include 73 fungi, 53 plants, 38 insects, 10 birds, 7 arachnids, 5 amphibians, 4 mollusks, 4 reptiles, 3 mammals, 3 cyanobacteria, and 2 protozoa.

Of these, there were 130 species recorded. The most observed species was the Giant Puffball on 5 occasions. Amur Honeysuckle was second with 4 observations. Several species were observed on 3 occasions.

The 206 observations came from 18 different observers. Our top 5 observers for the month were @mikehensley75 (68), @martyndrabik (47), @jenniferc3 (15), @treehugger15 (14), and @briarrose777 (13).
