Puncturevine - Tribulus terrestris

Puncturevine is a sprawling, yellow-flowered plant that spreads through super spiny seeds that stick to everything, and can even punch holes in bicycle tires. It's found in several places in Eastern Oregon and in particular is heading west along I-84 and the Columbia River. There are also some sites along I-5.

Read more about puncturevine on the Columbia Gorge Weed Management Area's fact sheet or learn how to manage these weeds from University of California.

Enjoy the last few weeks of summer!
